INTERNSHIPS
Your search for an internship has finally led you here. The Chapter Media is a full service production company in the heart of New York City providing development, production, and post production services to creative content and commercial projects in episodic, digital, and broadcast formats.
Required intern qualifications:
- Proactive attitude
- Sense of humor
- Enthusiasm
- Experience with Microsoft Office or iWork apps for Development and Production candidates.
- Experience in FCP7, Avid, or Premiere Pro for Post Production candidates
- Having a personal laptop is a plus
General internship details:
- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis
- Internships are available for three months every Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer
- Interns must be available two to three days a week
- Days must be consecutive
- We afford our interns a lot of freedom, so those who constantly seek out work and ask questions will have a much richer experience than those waiting for tasks to be delegated
Interns will work across departments, but may have the opportunity to focus on one of the following areas:
- Development: Assist producers with casting, loglines, research, scripting, branded content
- Production: Assist producers with logistics, budgets, scouting, casting
- Post Production: Assist editors with technology, media backup, edit prep, rough cuts, exports
